Personal + Professional (Fun Facts)
She has a special interest in feline medicine and surgery. When she’s not treating her patients, she’s traveling, baking, or watching sports. (Boiler Up and Go Pack Go!) She enjoys Bakersfield tacos + margaritas as well as Indianapolis Symphony Concerts. Nicole and her husband, Bill, are both veterinarians. They have Annie (three-legged Lab/Chow/Pit mix); and Elby (cute orange cat and queen of the castle).

Why I got into the vet med industry…
Being able to combine her interests in science and math. It all started with her compassion for helping the voiceless. Then as she got older, realized that veterinary medicine also allowed her to use both science and math which were strong interests to her growing up.

Why I like working for City Way…
Dr. VanDeLeest brought her expertise and compassion to City Way Animal Clinics in 2015. She has seen this company grow exponentially over the years and has come to truly cherish and love the relationships she has built with not only her patients but her clients and team members. She loves the idea of City Way helping most pets in the downtown area. She couldn’t imagine working anywhere else. Square the clinic cat also helps, too!
